The company was founded in Groningen in 2018 and it has been growing ever since. Currently, ParaMedir is applying its technology on the development of a medical device for the assessment of kidney function of AKI in IC settings, the UriMoni™. The UriMoni, allows continuous monitoring of key biomarkers for the assessment of kidney function, continuously and in real-time, via the integration of a series of (bio)sensors in a microfluidic device. In addition, the company is developing new biosensors, based on their proprietary technology for (continuous) monitoring of key biomarkers such as glucose, lactate, creatinine and urea in biologically relevant matrices for biomedical applications.
